Chicago


I joined my sister Julie into Chicago today. After lunching at a delicious Tapas restaurant we took a boat tour along the Chicago River and into Lake Michigan. The tour focused on architecture, which is also the theme of these photos. Near where the boat departed from is the construction site of the Trump Tower. Upon completion this will be the tallest building in the Americas.

Needles Overlook


A group of us wandered from Telluride to the desert of Utah near Moab last weekend. We had a great weekend of towing/paragliding and camping at the Needles Overlook.

Telluride

My endless summer has ended as I've now been home in Telluride for almost two weeks. Last October I ventured to Peru followed by Chile and Argentina, and then in mid-Jan Australia and Fiji. Late March I returned stateside where I milked the warmth and flying in southern California for a couple weeks before finally returning home to:


This photo doesn't illustrate the numerous days of cold, wind and snow that sent shivers to my bones last week. The snow on the valley floor has melted during the last few days of sunshine.

My last haircut was in Lima many moons ago. I took the buzzers to my head and this is what happened...
